Martin, you once quoted a comment I made about how narcissists and psychopaths work, by pushing people a little at a time, letting them relax back, then pushing them a little more to go just over the edge of immorality, relaxation, pushing again, until the person being pushed is permanently over the line, innocence lost. The people and system in Tennessee and North Carolina fit this psychopathic profile, as does this systemic process and outcome that you are describing here in this post. It all reminds me very very much of this process I mentioned to you a while ago.
