Dearest Martin, while I applaud your stance of "if I go to jail, so be it," I've said it myself once or twice, let me point out, if I may, that if you go to jail, [they] WILL inject you for the privilege of jailing you.

Is it perhaps not time to hitch a lift on a friendly yacht to Ireland or to Iceland or to Saint Petersburg, to any sneak-me-in-I'm-unvaxed friendly sort of place. I like Saint Petersburg + Russia + Putin. Incidentally, my maternal grandfather, living then in Saratov, was educated at the university in Saint Petersburg.

Jail = Vaxxed. Let's try to avoid that. Both. Pack up your camera and laptop and sense of humour and a change or two of clothes, grab Riddle of the Sands, Erskine Childers, and hop on a friendly yacht. I'm sure you can launch an appeal for one that will be well met ... by ... someone who loves and respects you. Karen - PS: Stand strong, but stand somewhere out of the fray, if you can, please.

Not sure what's going on in the U.K. but generally one-man tax rebellions are a bad idea.

If can get a nice-sized group of people, that's an entirely different subject.

I'd pay it just to be able to fight later.
