Tough stuff Martin but well done you for sticking up for your friend at no small cost to yourself. As you say, justice will come eventually - one way or another.
Thank you for stating the most important truth for all of us to hold as we move forward together: "The silver lining in this cloud of betrayal has been a growth in my own faith and fortitude."
We are truly asked to answer the call of God for such a time as this. You and your journey continue to be a tremendous inspiration for Me--thank you so very much, Martin.
Brilliant, just brilliant… In these days that “try men’s souls” it is so important to recognize the pain of unjust setbacks, while acknowledging the reality that truth will prevail. Your poignant telling of these events stirred me to tears, knowing the horrors of this war we are in. Thank you Martin, for you are one truly in the battle on the frontlines … and reminding us of the sacrifices faced by today’s heroes of justice to come. I remember when you were here in the US, but as a west coast resident, I couldn’t travel to the events you had. Love, prayers & hugs, A California Fan.
It seems each of us, including the children involved, must live through the difficulties that come our way. It is sad, but true. This out-of whack system we live in is broken & cannot be "fixed", each person must learn their own lessons & pick their own way through this morass! Life is never "fair" is it?! One must choose where to put one's energies & each person has a different set of circumstances & we have all been learning the lessons we were set to learn! I like how C.A. Fitts puts it. She strives to have only persons of integrity in her circle. We each create our own bubble of existence & learn our lessons along the way. We cannot change other people, which is a hard lesson to learn. We can only change ourselves & create our own personal social circle.

I asked Grok (and chatGPT for a sub section) and this is what it came up with:
