What a space you have stepped into. Not only have you offered a clear description of the council tax as illegal and immoral, you have coupled it with an offer of forgiveness and an invitation to be welcomed into a community of newly-freed fellows, as well. Thank you, Martin, for taking the fight to the local battlefield, and shining the light on the festering corruption there.

I don't know I ,myself would be capable of such graciousness.

A certain training program in discernment and logical thinking estimated that between 4% and 6% of people are considered ‘hopeless' and forever brainwashed (#337).

That means 19 of every 20 people you reach, by any means possible, have the potential to be woken.

Good for you.

So well written. Most of that letter could be written to a lot of people. I can’t name one thing in my country that is not corrupt or broken. Sometimes I feel like screaming at the sky like some on the Left do. When I look back I realize how mediocre things are. I didn’t realize at the time; I just accepted it. Why are there so many lousy restaurants? Why can’t they all be 4-5 star? Why no customer service? Why no recourse for absolutely anything? Try getting to a manager to complain about a company. Good luck. There are no consequences for bad behavior or bad service. We don’t get good quality products anymore, just the elite. We have to settle for poor quality everything made in Ch-eye-na? Why are our politicians ratings at 6-8 percent, yet things never change? Why so many lousy greedy doctors? Why have trillions of our tax dollars being stolen for strangers from other countries rather than being used to benefit us? Why are invaders getting organ transplants from American donors while Americans die? Why do I have to pay for hundreds of cable channels when I only watch about five? Why do I have to pay for CNN, Fox, and other fake news? I could go on and on. A lot needs fixin! I really want to live to see things change. I want to take part in changing things.
