Enjoyed this, read the pdf too, good to know that my inner nerd persists. As an avowed luddite I feel vindicated by your struggle, lol. Also, pre-2025 I wasn't superstitious, but subsequent events have changed that. I now realise that attempting to send 13 items (as opposed to 12 or 14, say) is actually asking for trouble. Bizarre I know, but true. Doubtless the programming team is 'diverse'; several of them probably have English as a second language; one, some or most of them may have lied on their CV's. In a Satanic society the resulting chaos & disfunction isn't a bug, it's a feature. Perhaps I'm being too cynical (you think?! Lol). I too used to be an IT contractor, many moons ago. The last contract I worked was 'SAP Release Manager' for a big company / major release in Sweden. I was required to use a reporting application which presented multiple screens & buttons which not only didn't do what they promised, but actually corrupted your work. I ended up writing 'Guide to XXX for Men' as a humourous way of documenting all the idiosyncracies for myself & others. After a while I twigged that they'd set me up to fail, so they could sue their 3rd party Indian sub-contractor. Sadly for them I did whatever it took and delivered anyway, but it was Tough, and I never worked again (partly for personal reasons, long story). Satanic societies ... grim in so many ways!
I truly hope they respond. The result will be interesting.
Martin! U need to bill them!
