Dear Martin, I have never replied or commented to anyone. You are the first. I would like to commend your work. Your writings are always clear, passionate, and moving and keeps readers absorbed from beginning to end. Your writings touch all of us. They convey not only your thoughts but the thoughts of others not as skillful with a pen.

Your column today reminded me of a quote by Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged; “ When you see that in order to produce you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing; when you see that money is flowing to those who deal not in goods, but in favors; when you see that men get rich more easily by graft than by work, and your laws no longer protect you against them, but protect them against you…you may know that your society is doomed”.

Thank you for your unique style that continues to embrace the interests of your readers.

Thank you Martin. I resonate with your writings and feelings. We have just moved house from 25 years living in Somerset to moving over the border in Dorset a mile away, downsizing from an acre to 1/2 an acre (still loads to grow your own) next door to our very best friends of 14 years who are awake and on the same journey as us, we are all ex-Londoners and are positive, 17.... followers you could say . We are not wealthy, we have lost many friends but we have a small, local group of people who feel like us and we do not consent to doom. We live our good life and try to introduce small snips of info to people we know who do not share our views. We are mostly cut down....I was last week by a so called friend who I trained with in Garden Design by John Brookes 20 years ago told by text to land line, no need to chat....just go away on trying to embrace him regarding chem trails that litter our skies here every bloody day! We have new friends these last two years so we don't need those..... we have been on the streets with our boards, we have wonderful get togethers and we live in the now, do what we can to inform others gently where we can, in a sea of masks still here in Somerset. Many of us have prepped for difficult times but all of us remain positive. If we are destined to die, then so be it, why be afraid of that? If we are to be carried off to the Gulag then I will ask to be shot first. I couldn't go there without my books or flowers......

Hello Martin.....I have followed you since the outset of all this! Your writing is integral to my well being. With all that comes my way of 'awake, like minded souls' the deep honesty and thoughts you express resonate in ways that go to the heart of the matter. I am in Canada and what WE are experiencing, not unlike the whole wide world, is an awakening of such great magnitude that one can only live in the awareness that we were born for this moment. Words matter, and as we navigate through, it is your eloquent understanding, expressed beautifully in words, that convey what we all feel, think and experience. Thank-you Martin.....keep on keeping on.

Your words are truly honest and heartfelt. Your writing hits home with me Martin and I thank you for saying so eloquently how so many of us are feeling. All we can do is our best to stay strong and true to our beliefs faced with the hatefulness coming from multiple angles. We are here for a reason. We are witnessing the worst time and making the best time our focus now. Your photographs are beautiful. Onwards and upwards. ♥️

I'm sorry Martin for your pain! But I think you're finding God's Grace in your amazing photography & lovely writing.

Let it go & don't let them win! There are more of us than them. We just have to find each other, encourage & support one another.

I hope this substack will finally help you get the message out.

Also how can you purchase the photo at the end of the article? That was gorgeous! Couldn't stop looking at it!
