I mean they ignored his warnings!

It has prompted me to actually open and read my latest (February 2023) variant of letter from TV Licensing which has stated that "Your address has been scheduled for a visit by an Enforcement Officer" (printed in red bold). "If you are prosecuted, you could be fined up to £1,000 plus legal costs and/or any compensation you may be ordered to pay." It goes on to say that the visit could be averted if I call their "specialist team" immediately - "who have lots of experience helping people in similar situations decide if they need a TV Licence and find the best way to spread the cost." LOL.
I DECIDED that I did not want or need a TV License over two years ago when I FINALLY cancelled my license. I'm now being treated like a criminal who 'needs help in making a decision' all over again - because I refused to submit a repeat confirmation of my very same status after two years. As the Freedom of Information request excerpt you stated in your article says, "there is no legal obligation to respond to TV Licensing communications" - so I'm not responding. EVER.
I grew up with pelicans and seagulls. The smell of salt air, crashing waves and the ocean. So far away now. Your pic reminded me of them. What a hell of a fight, just it seems to get blood out of a turnip. Crazy people.
