While reading this essay, I became aware that there was a "lightness" in your communication that I had not noticed before. It conveys the meta-message of finally being able to look beyond the turmoil of the immediate days ahead; the hopeful expectation of coming "out of the tunnel" and seeing a brighter future to come. I found that feeling very encouraging. Thank you !

In the next several years I will be excited to see "Essays by Geddes" listed as required reading in a new world of acadamia - one that is refitted and redirected towards a pursuit of practical and philisophical truths. Thank you Martin!

Well said, Beth Wright … and another outstanding article, Thank you Martin ! What a wonderful & hopeful era ahead, past all the unraveling of lies & deceptions … when our struggles & experiences on this journey can serve as a historical reference for the prolonged preservation of freedom for humanity. I have many of Martin’s writings tucked away, to serve as both a reminder & a primer for generations to come … Such a Blessing, indeed.

You always see through the layers and stresses so well Martin. Recognising and touchingly discovering where you can make a big difference amongst your fellow peers. Yet another huge string added to your bow. I'm super proud to be a supporter of your tireless pursuit of truth, lawful remedy and justice in this quagmire of an upside down world surrounding us. Bravo. ♥️

Wow: "I am acutely aware that being intellectually gifted can paradoxically be exceptionally lonely and painful, with few role models you can turn to. "

And, quite a dapper fellow is the author of those words =;-)

PS - “I and your father sometimes discuss how Martin was right” - BRAVO!!

And oh my, "the hurt of my own can be transmuted into healing for all" - that *is* my life.

There isn't space to quote all the good lines there Martin - a true delight to read and resonates with deafening roar. God bless ❤️

I wouldn't understand what your abstract friend meant by studying the equals sign. But: Studying the equals sign in more concrete ways was the heart and soul of BRITISH technology. Nobody does it better. From Wheatstone's bridges to Blumlein's stereo and long-tailed pair, the best and most quintessentially British tech has always been based on balancing the scale and watching the delta between two sides.

We each have our own place in The Grand Scheme of Things & we each have different experiences. However, there is no getting away from the fact that we each have had "outside" help from time to time. We are each Bit Players in Somebody Else's Big Game!! We have no clue what the Big Game IS, but that's o.k. too!! Knowing we are Spiritual Beings FIRST kind of puts things into perspective as we struggle through where our path has led us!! ;-)

"An analogue culture is dying out."

These words, Martin, made me thinking.

Ok...But is it dying by itself or is it being eliminated by someone or something?

Is it even possible for analogue culture to be dead?

Lets assume what ever we call analogue is actually a reality. This is not far fetched assumption, isn't it?

What is the opposite for analogue? It is digital, isn't it?

Than, following the logic what ever is digital - is opposite to reality i.e. a fiction.

Replacing an analogue with digital is actually replacing reality with fiction. This is what is happening last 30 odd years and accelerating faster and faster, isn't it?

I stand on the position that all problems we have in our world is because people can not see the difference between reality and fiction. They take fiction as reality and act accordingly. Even with no intent to do harm, the very fact that they act based on a fiction can lead to the harm real.

The exit is where the entry is: To know where the border between analogue and digital, between reality and fiction. To know the reality and act accordingly with no harm.

People should not allow digital to replace analogue. People should not allow the fiction to replace the reality. It is so simple. Or is it really?
